Customer is going to implement Leave Planer by JET BI to provide an orderly workflow, resource planning, as well as for better use of resources and quality control over the schedule of employees' vacations, their workload, etc.
Goals and tasks
- Store information in a single database to allow reporting and historical analysis;
- Automate user filtering and enforce data visibility;
- Increase efficiency by automating the process of planning employee vacations, attracting employees who are not employed on projects to work instead of employees who are on vacation;
- Improve the efficiency of resource usage;
- Forecast resource utilization;
- Make vacation planning as simple, fast, and transparent as possible for all employees in the organization.
Project scope
The team performed consulting and development services including:
- Migration of employee data with all characteristics and skills;
- Setting up a view of actual workload data for the HR manager;
- Setting up workload data view for each employee based on role and mentorship.
Result
- Displaying the vacations of employees for the HR manager in the format of the month, with the display of a statistical diagram;
- Displaying for an employee the vacations of colleagues whose vacations are associated with the planning of his vacation;
- The possibility of a fast, convenient, and transparent vacation planning process by employees;
- Automation of work resource allocation planning processes;
- Flexible adjustment of the possibility of the vacation planning, depending on the employee's role in the organization, the structure of the organization, and the number of projects in which he is involved.
