Project Description

The client operated a growing e-commerce business built on Drupal Commerce and needed comprehensive integration with Salesforce CRM to unify their sales processes across online and offline channels. The solution required synchronizing product catalogs, order management, payment processing, and customer data while automating lead capture from website interactions to create a seamless omnichannel experience.


Goals and Tasks

  • E-commerce Order Synchronization. Implement real-time sync of Drupal Commerce orders to Salesforce opportunities and accounts for complete sales pipeline visibility
  • Product Catalog Integration. Synchronize product information between Drupal Commerce and Salesforce to maintain consistent pricing, descriptions, and inventory data
  • Customer Account Management. Connect Drupal customer accounts with Salesforce contacts and accounts, including order history and purchase behavior tracking
  • Payment and Transaction Sync. Integrate payment processing data to track revenue, refunds, and payment methods in Salesforce for comprehensive financial reporting
  • Automated Lead Capture. Implement Web-to-Lead functionality for website inquiries, quote requests, and abandoned cart recovery
  • Inventory Management. Establish product stock level synchronization between e-commerce platform and Salesforce for sales team visibility


Project Scope

The team delivered comprehensive integration services including:

  • Drupal Commerce Order Integration. Developed comprehensive order synchronization system that automatically creates Salesforce opportunities when customers place orders. Each e-commerce transaction generates corresponding opportunity records with complete order details, line items, and customer information.
