On February 1, SAPUI5 course has been launched by JET BI. This year, like most educational events, our course was held online too. Fortunately, it didn’t prevent students from throwing themselves into the intensive course program prepared by JET BI experts.
During 5 weeks, students of leading Belarusian universities, such as BSU, BSUIR, BNTU, studied SAP Cloud Platform, basic of SCP services, got acquainted with the objects of the SAP HANA database, created web applications in the SAP WebIDE environment, and developed application interfaces on the SAPUI5 framework. The students regularly made homework on the topic covered and received prompt feedback from the lecturers and company experts. The final stage of the course became the exam on March 5, resulting in 7 students were invited to get an internship at JET BI, where they will start work on real projects.
Mikhail Gorelyshev, JET BI Project Manager, noted:
“During this course, we were able to build a 'win-win' system with the students: they gained relevant knowledge and JET BI experience in SAPUI5 development, built an interesting community around themselves represented by other students and lecturers, and we, in our turn, were able to expand the JET BI team with perspective newcomers.
These courses were held at a quiet pace, thanks to JET BI's experience in launching such events, that allowed the students to get the most out of the training process.
