On 18 May Marriott Hotel Minsk hosted one of the most important events in the world of technology in Belarus, SAP Forum Minsk.
The event gathered experts, partners, and clients of SAP company.
The Forum was opened by the recorded welcoming speech of Director of the SAP Representative office in CIS countries, Mr. Pavel Gontarev.
The first part of the event consisted of several plenary reports giving insights into milestones SAP has already reached as well as into tendencies and perspectives. This session was rounded up by a plenary discussion of the topic Digital Now. Actually particularly this sentence became a motto of the whole Forum.
The whole day all attendees could take part in different thematic sessions. Such areas as finance, logistics, procurement, HR, and manufacturing were covered by leading SAP experts and invited consultants. It was also interesting to visit several stands where the latest SAP solutions were presented. Specific industry SAP solutions to business problems gave a complex picture of the possible ways out. Thanks to the thematic differentiation of all sessions it was possible to create an interactive mix of the presentations and communication with the participants.
In the framework of the SAP Forum JET BI company signed the trilateral agreement on cooperation with BSUIR. CEO of JET BI, Andrey Tankevich signed the document with SAP University Alliance, an initiative, popularizing new technologies and innovations among students and young scientists.
Ilya Shulipin, Director of SAP Representative office in Belarus, drawn special attention to the agreement signing and mentioned that already 4 leading Belarusian universities are members of the University SAP Alliance. It means that more than 150 students each year get an opportunity to get known with SAP technologies and tools.
At the same time around 50 young experts are enabled to take an internship in the partner companies and to lay the groundwork for the successful career.
We surely hope that the laboratory class created on the base of the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics becomes an incubator where talented people will create great things.
