On April 22, the course for SAP BW Consultants beginners was completed. The main topic of the course was building a corporate analytical system on the SAP platform. Like previous courses, because of the Pandemic, classes were held in an online format, but it didn’t prevent JET BI experts from teaching 21 lectures and helping students with questions and difficulties.
The course recruitment was quite large: 30 students of the leading Belarussian universities had the opportunity to learn the basics of SAP BW. The program included: The role and place of BA-systems (Business-Analytics) in enterprise management systems; The role of information technology in enterprise management systems; Theoretical foundations for building Data Warehouses; SAP BW modeling. Multidimensional model in SAP BW, and much more. During the lectures, students learned how to model and develop corporate data warehouses, investigated the basics of ABAP development, learned how to solve business problems, and build informative reporting using SAP Lumira. On April 22, the final test was passed and the students were awarded certificates of successful course completion. Six candidates were invited to an internship at JET BI.
Vitana Tereshchenko, SAP BW/BO / HANA Consultant JET BI noted:
“Thank you to the guys who took part in our course, especially those who reached the end. It should be noted that in this set, the students did not just listen and do basic tasks, but really studied additional materials with interest, asked questions, complicated their homework, and were creative. The lecturers and I were pleasantly surprised by the work on creating presentations with dashboards of some students. They were correctly informative, from the point of data view, also original, aesthetic.
We were worried about the format of the courses, it was the first time online. However, during the courses, we managed to establish the learning processes and communication with the students to feel all the advantages of remote education. As a result, both the curators and the students enjoyed their work. It was nice to receive positive feedback.
I would like to wish the guys success in all their professional endeavors, you have everything for this: skills, aspiration, creativity, and perseverance. Go ahead!
We are already looking forward to the expansion of the SAP BW team with our colleagues!”
