On December 24, a meetup for Salesforce developers 'Latest Salesforce Trends' took place in JET BI lab at BSUIR. More than 25 participants actively discussed products and new features recently announced by the world's leading CRM provider.
The first report, Dreamforce'19 Key Takeaways, was held by Head of Salesforce practice and one of JET BI co-founders, Andrey Bosak. In his speech, Andrey focused on Top 10 trends announced at Dreamforce conference in November. He also analyzed a possible roadmap for their further evolution. Such announcements as Customer 360, Einstein Voice, as well as the integration of Salesforce and Tableau caught attention of the audience.
During the next part of the meetup, we focused on new "features" which Salesforce developers can take advantage of in the nearest future. Alexei Filippov, Lead Salesforce Developer, talked about Salesforce Evergreen. A feature that makes it easy to hook into Salesforce events when using non-Salesforce technologies. Your Node.js app, for example, can quickly be triggered by a Salesforce Platform Event. A lot of attention was paid to topics such as Lightning Base Components, Salesforce API portal and Data mask.
Thanks to the active participation of our guests, the meetup has become a lively dialogue enabling us to exchange opinions and ideas, take a fresh look at the facts and reconsider them.
We are sure that all those who attended had a good time and enjoyed the event.
