At the SAP Forum that was held in Minsk last week, special attention was paid to the development of cooperation with the leading universities worldwide, including the universities of Belarus. The SAP University Alliances is an SAP initiative that demonstrates remarkable results and provides an opportunity for mutually beneficial cooperation between universities and business. For the time being, more than 110 countries and more than 3100 educational institutions can use the latest achievements in the field of IT and develop solutions that will shape our future.
JET BI became a new SAP University Alliances partner
In the framework of the SAP Forum, which took place on May 18 at the Marriott Hotel, was signed a memorandum on trilateral cooperation between BSUIR, SAP CIS and JET BI. We are very glad to become a new partner of one of the leading universities in our country and to be able to share the accumulated experience with the future generation of SAP consultants.
Master class on business analytics
Just on the eve of the innovation forum, Yuri Bondar, Director of the SAP CIS Department for Analytical Solutions, conducted a master class on business analytics on the basis of the 4th building of BSUIR. The training attended participants of four Belarusian universities: BSUIR, BSU, BSEU, The Academy of Public Administration under the aegis of the President of Belarus, and Westminster International University (Uzbekistan).
The master class consisted of two parts: a three-hour lecture on theoretical fundamentals of business analysis, as well as a five-hour practical part on the preparation of analytical reporting.
Participants used information of a retail company as a sample database. As the analytical tool offered to the attendees was chosen SAP Lumira, an analytical product that reduces the time of report preparation by several times and has a wide functionality of data visualization. А team presentation of reports created on the basis of SAP Lumira and the award with certificates brought the master class to a close.
Employees of JET BI, Bukareva Nadezhda and Semenik Kristina, also took part in the master class. However, it should be noted that both Christina, SAP consultant of the company, and Nadezhda, who worked on the analytical report for the first time, confirmed that business analytics can become a truly fascinating activity with big demand on attention and concentration. At the same time, all participants of the master class received a lot of new knowledge, invaluable work experience with the analytical data system SAP Lumira.
