High-Tech Park Belarus became a venue for the next meeting of the Salesforce Community of that was held yesterday, on December 5. More than 70 persons attended the event. Speakers covered topics interesting for each developer and shared their personal experience with attendees. It is also pleasant to notice that our event hosted experienced developers and users of CRM system # 1 in the world, as well as newcomers in this field, just starting their career in the world of Salesforce.
Bosak Andrew, JET BI Co-founder, opened the meetup. He shared with guests main Salesforce trends announced in San Francisco at the largest IT-conference in the world, Dreamforce. Andrew also spoke out on the further development of different Salesforce products and technologies.
The second speech was riddled with useful practical information about Salesforce DX – a completely new way to develop on the SF-platform. The speaker, Evgeny Rusalev, shared his own experience and also outlined the several peculiarities while working with Salesforce DX (Salesforce DX CLI, Scratch Orgs, New source format, Packaging 2.0) in comparison with the traditional approach.
Summing up results of the quiz rounded up the event. All registered guests could take part in the quiz organized by JET BI. Participants correctly answered all six quiz questions received special gifts from Salesforce® - hiking backpacks and cozy rugs.
A chance to win a pleasant surprise - the branded rug - was also given to each attendee. The ‘Lucky one’ just had to find a special sticker under his chair to get the prize.
