On 13 -14 March 2019, the Fifth International Conference and Expo BIG DATA Advanced Analytics Optimizing Business and IT was held in Minsk.
BIG DATA — 2019 was organized by the Ministry of Education, Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics and the National Academy of Science. It gathered together scientists and experts from 32 countries to discuss the nearest prospects for implementation and expansion of BIG DATA technologies in different spheres of society: BIG DATA in IT, BIG DATA in Business, BIG DATA in Medicine and Education, and tools for Advanced Analytics.
Darya Mayakova, JET BI SAP BI/BO consultant, paid attention to the next topic: "Сomparative analysis of on-premise and class cloud BI solutions on the example of SAP products.” The next items were considered:
- the difference between on-premise solutions and cloud solutions;
- the advantages of using cloud BI; the main problems of cloud solution’s implementation;
- the prospects in technology development in the future.
The conference is devoted not only to BIG DATA. It has become a platform for discussing ideas and questions related to the development of the IT industry, for sharing experiences and for international collaboration among IT experts.
